Job summary

IG Soft is seeking an ambitious Architect to join their team. The company, with offices in Sofia and Belgrade and a focus on agile software development, invites a self-driven professional to help build scalable, modern architectures.

You will work across development teams, enhance system architecture, and drive deployment automation while optimizing costs and performance. The role emphasizes growth and learning within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with software development, infrastructure design, deployment automation, test automation, and/or configuration management.
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and practices required.
• Experience with source code management, build automation and dependency management.
• Deep understanding of DDD.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Experience with transition of monolith to microservices is a strong advantage.
• Experience with data warehousing is an advantage.

• Analyze current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and suggest enhancement solutions
• Develop, document, and communicate plans for improving in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities

RESPONSIBILITES

• Working with development teams and help them to setup a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
• Analyze current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and suggest enhancement solutions
• Develop, document, and communicate plans for improving in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities
• Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations

Required Knowledge

• Five years of experience with software development, infrastructure design, deployment automation, test automation, and/or configuration management
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and practices required.
• Experience with source code management, build automation and dependency management.
• Extensive analysis, problem resolution, and troubleshooting skills are required
• Deep understanding of DDD
• Experience in microservice architecture
• Experience with transition of monolith to microservices is considered as a strong advantage
• Experience with data warehousing is considered as an advantage
