Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Seek out appropriate contacts within organizations and generate leads through cold calling prospective customers.
- Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone to foster and develop relationships.
- Understand customer needs and respond effectively with tailored plans.
- Think strategically by setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
- Implement operational changes through strategic planning.
- Draw up client contracts, depending on company size; this task may be handled by others or may not be formalized.
- Maintain a good understanding of the company’s products or services and advise others accordingly.
- Ensure staff are aligned with organizational changes and understand their roles.
- Train team members and arrange external training when appropriate.
- Coordinate promotional strategies with the marketing department.
- Liaise with finance, warehousing, and logistics departments as needed.
- Seek continuous improvement in business operations.
- Stay updated on trends and changes in the business environment.
Job Details:
- Type: Regular / Permanent
- Salary: ₹500,000 – ₹916,150 per year
- Location: Bengaluru – 560076, Karnataka (reliable commute or relocation required)
