Syngenta is seeking a Reporting Analyst to join the Reporting & Analytics COE in Pune. You will work with the Run & Support Manager to ensure timely delivery of the Business reporting catalogue and provide day-to-day system support, monitoring, and enhancements.

The role involves ad-hoc data analysis, month-end validation, and collaboration with Business and IT to resolve data issues within SLA, with growing exposure to SAC, Databricks, and Python at a rookie level.

Qualifications

• MBA Finance/MCA/BCA with relevant experience.
• Proven ability to perform data analysis and validation in a financial context.
• Experience with reporting platforms and data validation in SAC/BI tools.

Responsabilités

• Provide ad-hoc analysis on underlying data in collaboration with Business SME and Data SME.
• Act as single point of contact for reporting solutions and assist departments with data extraction.
• Perform month-end reporting data validation accurately and timely.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and focus on value-added activities.
• Collaborate with IT and Business to resolve incidents and data issues within SLA, with proactive stakeholder updates.
• Support data validation in SAC and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Purpose:

Syngenta is embarking on a journey to create one source of data for decision support and to drive efficiencies in core financial processes. Streamlined financial reporting, including effective self-service capabilities, and advanced analytics are critical for success.

The role will be part of Reporting & Analytics COE. As a Reporting Analyst the person needs to work closely with Run & Support Manager to ensure timely delivery of Business reporting catalogue.

High level summary of the role:

• – Ability to perform adhoc analysis as required by the business on underlying data
• – Provide production support around Business reporting catalogue ensuring timely SLA bound delivery
• – Day to day system support and system monitoring
• – Ability to work on newer technologies like Databricks and Python (Rookie level)

Accountabilities:

• – Provide ad-hoc analysis support on underlying data by working closely with Business SME and Data SME
• – Act as a SPOC for selected reporting solutions and assist various departments on ad-hoc requests of retrieving and organizing data into required reporting formats
• – Perform Month end reporting data validation in an accurate and timely manner
• – Identify ways to streamline current processes allowing greater focus on value adding activities
• – Work closely with IT and Business to make sure that incidents and data issues are resolved within the agreed SLA. The person should also make proactive communication to stakeholders and providing regular updates till its resolved
• – Support in data validation in SAC, interact with stakeholders and cross functional teams until it gets aligned within different systems
• – Good business knowledge to understand the business requirement and provide the workable solution in SAC after collecting enough inputs
• – Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem solving skills and quick responsive to the queries
• – Work as a team member and have a good collaborative approach
• – Lead & Support the Budget process

Critical Experience:

• – Overall minimum 3+ years of experience with a strong track record of working in a support organization
• – Good understanding of financial KPIs and financial reporting
• – Previous experience in Financial reporting
• – Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross cultural business environment
• – Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• – Good working knowledge of Budget process

Technical Experience:

• – Experience with one or more visualization tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI etc.)
• – Experience in Databricks or BW4
• – Identify, develop, and implement automation opportunities using scripting, workflow tools, AI/Copilot capabilities, and process optimization techniques to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service quality.
• – Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting data integration processes, process chains, and reporting solutions

Education required:

• – MBA Finance/MCA /BCA with relevant experience
