ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE:
IT Infrastructure domain (Compute, Storage, Datacenter, backup, cloud services, etc), we are in need of senior resources to play an active role in the development of an organization’s infrastructure strategy architecture, service delivery standards, and best practices, to achieve the goal of IT infrastructure management to better effectiveness of IT processes, policies, data, human resources etc.
What will you get to do here:
- Designing and deploying functional network architecture
- Suggest improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalability
- Proactive support for all relevant network infrastructure Technologies like Switching, Routing, Firewall & Security, wireless, wired, NAC, SD.WAN etc.
- Timely incident troubleshooting, escalation, and facilitation
- Maintaining technical documentation such as drawings and standard operating procedures
- Provide mentorship within the team regarding technical issues, acting as a point of escalation
- Monitoring of network performance to include capacity, delay, reliability, maintainability, and availability
- Implementation of mechanisms to configure, operate, manage, provision and account for business network resources and traffic patterns
- Follow industry best practices, evaluate risk, manage upgrades and patching, and perform regular redundancy and resiliency tests within the infrastructure
- Network services Automations to simplify the daily task and to fulfill requirements
- Campus, Branch Office, WIFI, LAN switching, Routing and associated L2 and L3 configurations
- Dynamic Tunnel IPSEC-VPN, with BGP
- Software-Defined WAN
- Security to include next-generation firewalling, segmentation, and network access control
- Scripting technologies and automation of common configuration tasks
- Monitoring and alerting of infrastructure
- Network Traffic Load Balancing
- Cloud Networking
What qualities are we looking for:
- Experience as a network engineer, preferably in a senior position
- Sound knowledge about network security and control
- In-depth knowledge of dynamic routing protocols like BGP, OSPF
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Project management skills
- Drive for operational excellence, customer focus, and user experience
- Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and collaboration skills
- Solid experience with documentation, standard operating procedures, and policies aligned with infrastructure lifecycle management
- Preferred certifications: JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/CCNA/CCNP/PCNSA
