Job summary

Infosys is seeking a sustainability consultant to engage with customers, scope sustainability solutions, and develop proposals aligned with business goals.

The role involves leading analytics, ESG reporting, and data management efforts while collaborating with technical teams to deliver proposals, workshops, and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to scope sustainability solutions and develop proposals.
• Conduct industry research to define customer problem statements and evaluate solution options.
• Create detailed requirements, user scenarios, and process artifacts to support implementation with technical teams.
• Articulate business value using sustainability KPIs and conduct solution demonstrations, POCs, and workshops.
• Prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and organizational financial guidelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing SME in sustainability, ESG reporting frameworks, and data management.
• Understanding of concepts such as product carbon footprint, circular economy, life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable manufacturing, and sustainable finance.
• Awareness of sustainability implications across organizational operations and the upstream and downstream value chain.
• Part of a rapidly growing unit focused on sustainability analytics, compliance, and next-gen solutions leveraging AI and emerging technologies
