Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for general queries via phone, email, or online case management.
• Own and manage client inquiries and issue resolution using Salesforce.
• Support Client Coverage teams across EMEA to improve efficiency and client experience.
• Collaborate with Solutions Specialists, Sales, and Client Service across EMEA.
• Develop understanding of MSCI ESG Research Solutions.
• Resolve client questions for MSCI ESG Research using AI tools.
• Liaise with other MSCI departments to manage client requests appropriately.
• Maintain Salesforce records of contacts, conversations, cases, and emails.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to optimize client experience.
• Work on product testing projects with cross-functional teams across regions.

Position overview: MSCI Inc. is seeking to expand its Sustainablity & Climate Client Service team. MSCI ESG Research is a leading provider of Sustainability & Climate research to institutional investors globally. Successful candidates will have a financial background, client service experience, and exhibit an interest for this business. They should have proven abilities to develop strong working relationships with external clients learn MSCI ESG Research products and guide clients to better use those products. Our clients span some of the world's largest pension funds and asset managers. Managing the relationships for a portfolio of clients exposes the analysts to a wide range of institution types and ensures a challenging role with daily client interactions. To succeed in the role, analysts must learn about ESG products and issues, about their client's line of business and investment process, and then bring that knowledge together to provide insight and best practices to those client organizations. Client Service Associate must be adaptable, eager problem solvers, and able to lead cross-organization teams. Great communications skills are a must as they represent MSCI to all levels of client management

• First point of contact for general queries directed to client services by phone, email or online case management
• Ownership and management of client enquiry and issue resolution processes for specific case types using salesforce
• Supporting Client Coverage teams across EMEA to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience via best practice
• The successful candidate will work closely with Solutions Specialists, Sales and their Client Service colleagues across EMEA
• Achieve an appropriate understanding of MSCI ESG Research Solutions
• Become proficient at resolving MSCI ESG Research client questions and issues for specific case types by leveraging AI tools
• Liaise with other MSCI departments to ensure all clients’ requests/inquiries are managed appropriately
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce of client contact details and conversations, including cases, and emails
• Liaise with service delivery teams to optimize client experience
• Work on projects associated with product testing and liaise with cross-functional teams across regions

• 6-7 years of work experience in Client Service function or Sustainability/Climate would be preferred

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master’s Degree preferred

• Strong interest in Sustainability & Climate and how these factors impact the investment process

• Must be attentive to detail with a willingness to learn and grow per the business goals

• Must have an appreciation for diverse cultural norms and styles

• Prior knowledge of MSCI products and experience of a client facing role (preferred)
