Qualifications

Work Model

You’ll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location, with flexibility to work remotely.

Position Summary

Reporting to Director India Sourcing, this person will be a critical leader responsible for execution of sourcing Cost saving, VAVE, resourcing projects across all Regal Rexnord segments with a focus on RRX India region. The Supply Chain Program Manager is responsible for leading cross‑functional supply chain initiatives that improve supplier performance, cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and operational efficiency. This role partners with sourcing, procurement, operations, engineering, quality, logistics, finance, and IT teams to execute strategic programs and drive supply chain transformation initiatives. SC Program Manager will lead projects spanning direct procurement, supply chain and operations optimization, and procurement synergy. In this role, the individual will lead multiple projects that can vary in complexity across the Regal Rexnord Enterprise. The program manager will oversee the work related to all functions over the duration of the projects. The ideal candidate will be self‑driven, straightforward, able to handle multi projects at same time, and a good problem solver with common sense and a practical approach to problems. You will bring your demonstrated history of getting quickly adapted to an unfamiliar working environment, building and leveraging relationships in a matrixed environment, working collaboratively to ensure team performance, and successfully influencing a variety of business stakeholders at all levels. Monitor and mitigate risks with leveraging the key tasks on the critical path spanning overall project lifecycle. With priorities and sense of urgency, properly communicate and manage stakeholder’s expectations and team players’ concerns. A good problem solver to facilitate alignment when various issues that arise from stakeholders. Develop trust within the business so that where there are conflicting priorities or other issues you can ensure that all involved understand the issues and agree with the solutions put forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverages a high level of project management skills on supply chain related outsourcing, insourcing, VA/VE, supplier resourcing, large cost out initiatives and integration projects.
  • Identify the project scope, objectives, schedule planning and new part qualification progress with category managers to build a healthy project pipeline for annual cost save goals by category and business unit.
  • Responsible for assembling project team globally with category managers.
  • Work with category managers to identify individual responsibilities, appropriate resources needed and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Acts as liaison between RRX India plants and enterprise sourcing team.
  • Review the sourcing cost‑out target attainability and new project pipeline with plants on a regular basis.
  • Be a major window to identify any potential gaps to meet AOP cost save target and initiate new potential projects working with category managers and plant procurement managers.
  • Implement robust communication strategies to report on program status, communicates critical issues to external and internal customers.
  • Maintain a consistent way on project reporting‑out, documentation, execution processes in line with regional supply chain management requirement.
  • Identify the risks in terms of project execution from the pipeline management perspective and elevate the potential impact with mitigation plans.
  • Demonstrate managerial courage and leadership to challenge project priorities, resource allocation and elevate project obstacles promptly based on 80/20 principles.
  • Monitor and drive Open Purchase Order (PO) execution with India‑based BVC suppliers supporting manufacturing plants across the USA, Mexico, Europe, and APAC regions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve supply risks, material shortages, and delivery issues to ensure uninterrupted production and prevent line stoppages at global Regal Rexnord (RRX) facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers, RRX manufacturing plants, India Category Managers, and Supplier Quality & Development Engineers (SQDEs) to drive the successful execution of cost‑out projects.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery, right‑first‑time implementation, and realization of targeted savings while maintaining quality, service, and supply continuity.
  • Program & Project Management: Lead supply chain programs from planning through implementation. Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies. Track program performance and communicate progress to leadership. Coordinate cross‑functional activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports. Utilize ERP, BI, and analytics tools to generate actionable insights. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance. Present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues. Support supplier performance reviews and improvement programs. Lead communication across global supply chain teams. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Process Improvement & Transformation: Identify and implement productivity and cost‑saving opportunities. Support sourcing, logistics, and supply chain transformation initiatives. Standardize processes, reporting methods, and performance metrics. Leverage best practices and digital tools to improve efficiency.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

‘Must’ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 20 ~ 25 years of experience in direct material sourcing or procurement, project management or relevant experience in a manufacturing company, (project schedule, planning & execution); Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
  • Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software, ERP systems, Oracle, Excel and PPT.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of various Quality system methodologies 8D, Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP, Poka‑Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis is essential.
  • Project Management Certification, Supply Chain Certifications will be a plus.
  • Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and compliance throughout a complex organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, interact, and influence at all levels of the organization to drive results.
  • Excellence in generating accurate and understandable data and reports to analyze performance to make data‑driven decisions.

‘Nice to Have’ Requirements:

  • Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations with data‑driven analysis.
  • Proven ability to develop trusted, respectful relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience with development of sourcing processes or procurement is a plus.
  • PMP certificate is a plus; High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results.
