Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in Chennai invites an experienced planning professional to drive inventory management, production planning, forecasting, and delivery performance. Responsibilities

• Analyze key Planning & Fulfillment metrics including Inventory, On-time Delivery, Lead Time, Forecast Accuracy, and Resource Utilization to support business performance.
• Collaborate closely with planning and supply chain teams to improve operational planning processes and share best practices.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly MIS reports covering planning, fulfillment, and inventory management.
• Maintain and update SAP master data, including information records, moving averages, goods receipt plans, and shortage reports.
• Manage supplier-related challenges, including non-assigned and newly introduced parts, while supporting container scheduling and material availability planning.
• Proactively identify potential supply or production risks, escalations and drive mitigation actions.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or related coordination roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP (Production Planning) module.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
