Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our team in India. You will design, manage and deliver data-driven supply chain analysis, ETL processes, and optimization models in a fast-paced consulting setting.

You will work with Tableau/Power BI, SQL and Python to derive insights, build digital twins and present actionable recommendations to clients. Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, MBA or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in data analytics using SQL, Excel, Alteryx, R, SPSS, and Python; visualization with Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with optimization platforms such as Optilogic, Lyric, Coupa LLamasoft, Blue Yonder, AIMMS, O9 or similar; 2+ years in supply chain initiatives.

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Consultant/Sr. Consultant at NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting, you will join a team that helps craft supply chain strategies for the world’s largest and most dynamic firms. You will work in small teams of analytical thinkers and supply chain experts with a passion for problem solving. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be working with a project team from NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting and our clients to design, manage, and deliver analysis-driven, actionable supply chain design/optimization recommendations. Your primary roles will be to perform data ETL (extract, transform, load), build supply chain optimization models/digital twins, execute and evaluate supply chain scenarios, and perform data analytics on input data and optimization model outputs using reports, visualization charts, and dashboards. Client and/or other NTT DATA SCC team members may be located across multiple geographies.

Consultants/ Sr. Consultants at NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting must be comfortable in operating in these roles:

• Communicator: Ability to understand & communicate requirements, gaps and analyses with internal and client teams performing your own data analysis as necessary

Specific responsibilities include

• Develop an understanding of the client industries, business operations, and supply chain challenges.
• Work closely with the team & client to gather, transform, analyze, and report data.
• Identify and resolve data‑related issues to support solution review and acceptance.
• Use Tableau, Power BI, SQL, KNIME, Alteryx or similar tools to derive analytical insights and visualize large data sets.
• Design and build optimization models using Optilogic, Coupa (LLamasoft), Lyric, Blue Yonder, AIMMS, Anylogic, O9 Solutions, or similar tools.
• Develop comprehensive output reports and analyses based on optimization scenarios outputs.
• Work closely with the team to design, develop, and integrate material for client presentations and support the project delivery during interactions and presentations.
• Identify opportunities and enhance NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Continuously strengthen problem‑solving, analytical, and consulting skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s, MBA or Master’s degree (or equivalent) preferably from a leading institution in Supply Chain Management, Operational Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Have expertise in data analytics using tools/packages such as SQL, Excel, Alteryx, R, SPSS, and Python, along with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Preferably hands‑on experience with optimization platforms such as Optilogic (Cosmic Frog), Lyric (Lyric Studio), Coupa (LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru), Blue Yonder Solutions, AIMMS (SC Navigator), O9 Solutions, or similar modeling tools, supporting Network Design, Inventory Optimization, and Transportation/Logistics consulting engagements
• Preferably 2+ years experience in supporting Supply Chain related initiatives (Design, Network optimization, Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics Optimization ).
• Advanced skills in managing and analyzing large data using relational databases are a plus.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka, India with flexibility to travel to client sites as required
