Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Associate in India to manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service within the supply chain. You will join the planning team handling end-to-end planning and execution, with a focus on freight transport and freight forwarding processes.

The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience and graduation in any field. You may be expected to work in shifts depending on project needs. This position is based in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, India.

• Graduation from any stream is acceptable.

What would you do?

• Manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service supply chain operations, helping clients realize 5 for every 1 spent on our services
• You will be part of Supply Chain Planning Team which is responsible for end to end supply planning and execution
• Freight transport, also referred as freight forwarding, is the physical process of transporting commodities and merchandise goods and cargo.

What are we looking for?

• Primary skill - Freight Transportation - P1
• Secondary skill - Freight Logistics - P1

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In this role you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
• Your expected interactions are within your own team and direct supervisor.
• You will be provided detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments.
• The decisions that you make would impact your own work.
• You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a predetermined, focused scope of work.
