Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Tax Compliance specialist to manage sustainability related tax cycles across Europe, coordinating data collection, extraction and the preparation of tax declarations.

You will liaise with factories and partners, perform analytics, ensure sign‑offs and file declarations while maintaining strong internal controls and data quality; contribute to monthly close and planning cycles and support new product tax components.

Responsibilities

• Manage full compliance cycle for sustainability related taxes across all Europe BU markets, including data collection, extraction, and preparation of tax declarations.
• Collect data from factories and business partners; extract relevant tax data from internal systems; identify and follow up on missing data.
• Prepare tax declarations according to market requirements; conduct analytics and trend analysis; review and validate all declarations.
• Execute sign‑off in line with internal controls; file declarations centrally or locally; request and approve tax payments; archive declarations and supporting documents.
• Perform month‑end closing activities for sustainability related taxes; support cost analytics and regular reporting; contribute to standard costing processes; support tax components of new product development; participate in annual business planning and forecast cycles.
• Lead and participate in bi‑annual planning meetings with regional stakeholders; monitor regulatory changes; support implementation of legal and business changes; manage new tax registrations and updates; report and resolve data quality issues; ensure BOM data availability and perform periodic data health checks; update and maintain Desk‑Top Procedures and coordinate sign‑off; identify process improvement or cost‑saving opportunities; maintain effective controls for tax filings.
• Serve as point of contact for authorities across Europe
