Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Lead the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) sourcing activities for the EMS business of TEPL. Coordinate the entire tender activities from requirement development with Projects, Operations, Architect and the PMC organization. Ensure compliant tendering processes and coordination with PMC for pre-bid activities. Lead techno-commercial negotiations, business award, contract management and coordinate tender closure activities including DLP and LD management.
- Key Responsibilities: Strategic sourcing for MEP and Utilities, and end-to-end tender process management including planning, techno-commercial negotiations, and approvals as per the DOA.
- Supplier development for greenfield and large-scale projects: develop a strong supply base around the business locations, develop alternate sources with leading-edge technologies & automation, and evaluate current supply base with a systematic techno-commercial rating.
- Cost reductions: drive year-on-year cost reduction with market benchmarks, technological advances and productivity improvements.
- Contract Management: demonstrate strong contract management skills in drafting and reviewing contracts to protect the organization’s interests; ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory norms; build safety, quality and compliance into contractual terms; negotiate contracts with supplier partners and ensure clauses are executed during and after closure.
- Supply Chain Program management, documentation and reporting: track and report project timelines and ensure supply chain deliverables meet cost, quality and delivery requirements; document key milestones, variations, delays and value engineering activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, Project Management Consultants and supplier partners to deliver projects on time.
- Team development and leadership: mentor and guide the team, foster a collaborative work environment, conduct training on industry best practices, new technologies, and safety standards; evaluate team performance and manage resources to ensure efficiency and productivity throughout the project lifecycle.
