Job summary

Remunance Systems in Pune is seeking a purchasing professional with 1–5 years of manufacturing experience to manage supplier relationships, plan ordering signals, and maintain the orderbook in line with system requirements.

The role involves identifying supply risks, expediting parts to ensure continuous supply, and monitoring supplier performance while coordinating with Operations, Sales and Demand Planning to optimize inventory and forecasts. Strong English and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment/with industrial suppliers.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, or similar field plus 2+ years in purchasing in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Communicating effectively with suppliers to maintain strong relationships.
• Actioning order planning/purchasing signals and acknowledgement, keeping the orderbook aligned with system requirements.
• Identify and resolve potential supply risks and expedite parts to ensure continuous supply to customers.
• Manage inventory levels by actioning messages in DOB (expedite, cancel and defer).
• Monitor supplier compliance to agreed terms (costs, lead-times, moqs).
• Communicate with Operations to ensure timely receipt of parts and resolve shipping/invoice queries.
• Collaborate with Technical Service Department and external suppliers on quality issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain Analysts and Demand Planning to identify issues and improve forecasts.
• Utilize daily/weekly/monthly reporting to optimize inventory investment.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively with suppliers to maintain a strong relationship.
• Actioning order planning/purchasing signals and acknowledgement process and then keeping the orderbook aligned with system requirements, efficiently resolving any day-to-daysupplyissues.
  • Identifying and resolving potentialsupplyrisks, expediting parts where needed to ensure continuedsupplyof parts to our customers
  • Manage inventory levels by actioning messages in DOB (expedite, cancel and defer messages).
• Monitor supplier compliance to agreed terms in the system (costs, lead-times and moqs.)
• Communicating effectively with the Operations team to ensure timely receipt of parts and swift resolution of shipping and invoice queries.
• Collaborate with the Technical Service Department and external suppliers on Quality issues.
• Collaborate with Sales,SupplyChainAnalystsand the Demand Planning Team, identifying issues and performing root cause analysis to improve the system forecast.
• Utilize Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting to optimize inventory investment.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-5 years experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment/working directly with industrial manufacturing suppliersOR-
• Degree inSupplyChainManagement, Management, or similar field combined with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment/working directly with industrial manufacturing suppliers. Working knowledge of purchasing andsupplychainconcepts with APICS, CPIM, NAPM certification and/or association a plus.
