Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking an experienced QA/SCQM professional with 7–12 years in aerospace or automotive manufacturing. You will lead supplier quality, drive CIP, and implement Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA across the supply chain.

You will assess suppliers, manage PPAP/APQP, support new product introductions, and work with cross-functional teams to improve delivery, quality, and cost. Strong communication and ability to influence CXOs required.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in Aerospace & Defence or Automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Experience with APQP and risk management processes.
• Practical understanding of project management and supplier quality planning.

Responsibilities

• Interface with suppliers for operational activities including tendering and selection decisions.
• Manage supplier approvals and ensure compliance with required certifications.
• Monitor new product introduction and ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase.
• Assess supplier capacity, capability and performance; drive supplier development.
• Identify supplier risks and propose mitigation actions; lead recovery plans if needed.
• Lead supplier performance improvement projects and report on performance using dashboards.
