Job summary

Tiger Analytics in Hyderabad invites an Analytics Consulting Lead to shape supply chain analytics projects for global clients. You will work on advanced ML applications, develop tailored models for complex distribution networks, and guide cross-functional teams across data engineering, modelling and business stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in operations research and end-to-end supply chain implementations; SAP APO/ERP familiarity is a plus, with strong communication to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Operations Research or advanced supply chain modelling.
• End-to-end lifecycle experience implementing supply chain planning solutions.
• Experience modelling supply chain networks to optimize using MILP/LP.
• Experience with SAP ERP/APO data sources is advantageous.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

About the role

As Analytics Consulting Lead, you will work with some of our leading clients in the latest applications of Supply Chain Analytics, Solutions, Platforms, and advanced ML to solve complex business problems.

On a typical workday, you could be doing one or more of the following:

Work on the planned activities along with the CoE team of the client, whose team members would be working from multiple locations across the globe.

Participate in the client workshops on specific themes in supply chain modelling or process improvement activities. There could be other consultants from Supply Chain platform providers.

Understanding the logic flows of how SAP APO is configured as-is and work on the to-be process and logics for the new supply chain planning platform.

Work with client data engineering and data science team for ensuring the data adequacy and quality is as per requirement.

The focus would be on tailored models for complex SC problems e.g., supply allocation, campaign planning with complex MILP model and especially for large global network where understanding of SAP ERP or SAP APO is lot more advantageous

Skillset/Domain Experience Requirement Operations Research / Supply Chain Planning / Supply Chain Modelling

Good academic background and work experience of at least 5 years in Operations Research including building complex mathematical models.

Experience of end-to-end lifecycle experience of implementing supply chain planning solutions, especially supply planning

Experience of modelling supply chain network for optimization using tools like cplex, Gurobi or leading platforms like Llama soft, AIMMS, Blue Yonder etc.

Analyzing and building complex supply chain networks by analyzing data complexity, run LP/MILP models, analyze results in Excel/Tableau and synthesize the result to communicate to supply chain and commercial stakeholders.

This is a role for combination skills of the above and someone with such combination would be advantageous.

Good understanding of SAP ERP (ECC/HANA) and/or SAP APO and its data sources would be advantageous.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with client middle and senior management teams across the globe.

Ability to lead teams (internal and analysts from client) and managing the expectations on regular basis.

Experience or exposure to Seeds and/or Agri value chain would be an additional advantage.
