Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Supplier/Vendor QA Engineer (Mechanical) to drive quality improvements in part manufacturing. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical disciplines and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, plus strong GD&T, problem-solving, and communication skills.

You will review drawings, analyze non-conformances, and coordinate with suppliers across locations to secure quality goals and prevent shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mech/Prod/Automotive/industrial/Aeropsace Engineering with Work experience of min. 5 years for Bachlors degree.
• Experience in resolving Quality problems during Part Manufacturing/ qualification/ shortages that are related to across Commodities like, Weldments, Machining, Fabrication, Ceramics etc.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, sheet metal, machining, Assembly) and various problem-solving tools (8D Problem solving, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA etc.).
• Ability to understand Engineering Drawings (Machined/ fabricated part, Assembly part) and GD&T.
• Understanding on Non-Confirmance Process and Supplier Issues related Process assessment and experience in setting annual quality goals and executing to plan.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) & presentation skills.
• Fair understanding on Lean Six Sigma Process.
