Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Machining to lead containment actions with suppliers, drive change control, and support production lines. The role emphasizes in-process quality, GD&T interpretation, and problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA techniques.

The candidate will interact with supplier and product engineering, ensure timely actions across shifts, and drive continuous improvement of supplier processes and BKMs to maintain quality in machined parts and assemblies.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/IE/Aerospace/Automobile/Mechatronics or Diploma in Mechanical Eng
• Experience in supplier quality and in-process quality for machined parts and assemblies
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and interpreting mechanical drawings
• Hands-on problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and related tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Drive containment actions with suppliers, especially during Central Europe time.
• Manage supplier change control and external/internal NCIs and NCe's.
• Coordinate time-sensitive tasks to support customer or manufacturing line down situations.
• Continuously improve supplier processes and develop best-known methods (BKMs).
• Work in shifts as required by the role.

Position Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Machining

Eligibility Criteria:

• Years of Experience: Graduate: 6-8 Years/Diploma: 8+ Years;
• Job Experience: Min 3 years work experience in quality activity in product company
• Educational: Primary Responsibilities: B.E/B.Tech in Mech/Prod/Industrial Engineering/Aerospace/Automobile/Mechatronics/ Diploma with any of the above discipline

Interact with Supplier and Product Engineering to support in driving containment action during Central Europe time.

• Manage Supplier change control and internal & external (NCi & NCe) complaints.
• Coordinate and support on time sensitive tasks to support customer/Manufacturing line down
• Continuously working on supplier process improvement and developing Best Known Methods (BKMs)

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Experienced in supplier Quality/In process Quality in handling Machined parts and assemblies
• Hands on experience in Problem solving tools (8D Problem solving, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc)
• Knowledge in various measurement tools and techniques like CMM, Profile projector, Surface roughness tester.
• Knowledge on interpret Mechanical drawings, GD&T and standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).

Desirable Skill:

• Experience in handling suppliers from remote location.
• Experience in working with SAP database or Other Database systems.
• Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and processes.
• The candidates must be willing to work in Shift.
