Job summary

• Manage Stakeholder Alignment: act as the interface across Client, suppliers and SLB functions, aligning priorities and escalation actions.
• Drive Performance & Risk Management: establish KPIs, governance, early-warning mechanisms and recovery plans.

Supplier Manager Client Nominated Suppliers

Role Purpose

The Supplier Manager is the single focal point for Client Nominated Suppliers , accountable for ensuring

supplier delivery performance supports production requirements and Client commitments.

The role operates in a complex supply model where the Client negotiates commercial terms and places purchase

orders directly with suppliers, responsible for delivery execution and production continuity. With

limited direct commercial leverage, the Supplier Manager must build strong relationships, influence effectively,

anticipate risks and drive solutions.

The objective is to move supplier management from reactive expediting to proactive delivery assurance, risk

prevention and strategic collaboration , protecting operational performance and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Supplier Delivery Performance: Ensure Client Nominated Suppliers deliver materials in line with production requirements and Client commitments; proactively manage shortages, delays, capacity constraints and recovery actions.
• Protect Production & Profitability: Identify root causes of supply disruption and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring issues, minimize red money , protect production continuity and safeguard profit margin.
• Lead Supplier Relationships: Build strong, trust - based supplier relationships to influence priorities and improve performance despite limited contractual and commercial leverage.
• Manage Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the key interface across the Client, suppliers and SLB functions, aligning priorities, expectations, responsibilities and escalation actions.
• Drive Performance & Risk Management: Establish appropriate supplier KPIs, governance, early - warning mechanisms and recovery plans to improve delivery reliability and prevent production impact.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify systemic supply - chain weaknesses and implement sustainable solutions that improve resilience, execution capability and Client experience.
