Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience is required.
• Proficiency in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room.
• Experience in preparing/reviewing 1040, 1065 (FLP), 1041 tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns (1040, 1065 FLP, 1041).
• Work on complex tax returns.
• Train juniors in the team.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and managers.

Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Supervisor level candidate to join our growing firm! The Candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is focused, the candidate should have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, and understand that the busy season for work often differs from a typical tax busy season.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 4 or 4+ years of public accounting experience
• Proficient in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room
• Experience in Preparing/ Reviewing– 1040,1065(FLP’s),1041 tax returns
• Able to work on complex tax returns
• Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
• Independent training and self-development, including researching and self-involving based on available resources
• Fluent writing and verbal skills in English, including grammatical accuracy
• Willing to work in office with team members / Supervisors or managers
• Willing to train the juniors in the team
• Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
• Ability to grasp new concepts
• Able to work flexible hours when key client or team meetings are needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
