Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a Team Member - Airside Operations to assist in coordinating airside activities and ensuring safe, efficient operations at our facilities. You will work with ATC, ground handling teams and maintenance staff to support aircraft movements and GSE management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field and 2–3 years of supervisory experience in airside or ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct aircraft movements to gates, taxiways and runways per ATC instructions.

• Support safety audits and training to enforce procedures.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Coordinate runway and taxiway inspections and debris removal.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure surface safety standards.

Job Purpose: Team Member - Airside Operations is responsible for aiding in coordinating and supporting airside activities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role involves handling routine tasks, monitoring airside operations, assisting in ground support equipment management, and helping with compliance to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Aircraft Movement Coordination: Aid in directing aircraft to and from gates, taxiways, and runways, ensuring compliance with air traffic control instructions.
• Help monitor aircraft positions, communicate effectively with pilots and ground crew, and resolve any issues promptly.
• Facilitate Ground Support Equipment Management: Ensure all ground support equipment (GSE) is in good working condition by assisting in coordinating regular maintenance schedules.
• Help manage the availability of GSE, such as tugs, baggage carts, and refuelling trucks, to support aircraft operations.
• Contribute to Compliance with Safety Regulations: Assist in conducting regular safety audits, implementing safety protocols, and providing training to staff on safety procedures.
• Help monitor airside activities to identify potential hazards and take corrective actions promptly.
• Aid in Emergency Response Coordination: Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans, conducting drills, and ensuring effective communication with emergency services.
• Help oversee evacuation procedures and provide support to affected individuals during emergencies.
• Assist in Runway and Taxiway Maintenance: Aid in coordinating routine inspections, scheduling repairs, and managing the removal of debris or hazards from runways and taxiways.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure all surfaces are well-maintained and meet safety standards.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

A Bachelors degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field is required.

Work Experience:

Supervisory Staff - Airside Operations should have at least 2-3 years of experience in airside or ground operations, including supervisory roles.
