Job summary

RSM is seeking a Supervisor to drive audit engagements, ensuring quality and timely delivery for client projects. The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP/GAAS, familiarity with audit software, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while coaching junior staff.

Ideal candidates will have a CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent, with 4–5+ years of relevant experience, and a strong track record in client service and project management. This position may involve travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Non-qualified: 6+ years of relevant experience.
• CA qualified + 4 years relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute core functions of the Supervisor role from planning to completion.
• Lead portions of audit engagements and review workpapers.
• Coach and develop staff, providing performance feedback.
• Manage client communication and expectations throughout the engagement.
• Oversee substantive testing, analytical procedures, and control testing; document results.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities as outlined in the job summary include executing core functions of the Supervisor role, contributing to team objectives, maintaining quality standards, and supporting client service delivery.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Audit software tools.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS or other relevant regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Experience leading portions of audit engagements from planning through completion, including reviewing workpapers, and managing workflow across multiple engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff, including coaching and providing performance feedback.
• Proven ability to manage client communication and expectations, including escalating issues and supporting resolution throughout the engagement cycle.
• Experience overseeing substantive testing, analytical procedures, and control testing, including documentation and evaluation of results.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in English with firm personnel and clients in person, by telephone, and through electronic or written means.
• Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and quality of work in accordance with performance expectations, firm, and client standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment and, as required by the role, at client sites, including the ability to sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer and other standard office equipment.
• Ability to work extended and/or nonstandard hours during peak periods or as necessary to meet client, project, or firm business needs.
• Ability to maintain consistent, onsite presence during core business hours including the ability to regularly report to a firm office location and travel to client sites as required, including access to reliable transportation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Non-qualified : 6+ years of relevant experience
• CA qualified + 4 years relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Audit Industry.
• CA qualified + 4 years relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in Review and Compilation .
