Job summary

RSM US LLP in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a qualified Audit Supervisor to lead portions of audit engagements, manage client communications, and drive quality across multiple assignments.

The role requires CA/ACCA/CPA qualifications with 4–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of US GAAP/GAAS, proficiency with MS Office and audit software, and the ability to work extended hours and travel to client sites as needed. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA qualified with 4 years relevant experience; ACCA/CPA qualified with 5 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Audit software tools.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS or other relevant regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Experience leading portions of audit engagements from planning through completion, including reviewing workpapers, and managing workflow across multiple engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff, including coaching and providing performance feedback.
• Proven ability to manage client communication and expectations, including escalating issues and supporting resolution throughout the engagement cycle.
• Experience overseeing substantive testing, analytical procedures, and control testing, including documentation and evaluation of results.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in English with firm personnel and clients in person, by telephone, and through electronic or written means.
• Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and quality of work in accordance with performance expectations, firm, and client standards.
• Ability to work extended and/or nonstandard hours during peak periods or as necessary to meet client, project, or firm business needs.
• Ability to maintain consistent, onsite presence during core business hours including the ability to regularly report to a firm office location and travel to client sites as required, including access to reliable transportation.
