Job summary

A leading food company in Mumbai is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Quality Manager to ensure compliance with food safety standards and manage product quality in restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. in food science, experience in QSR or food manufacturing, and proficiency in MS Office. This full-time position will involve working closely with suppliers and field operations to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in food science or related field.
• Solid understanding of FSSAI and GFSI audit programmes in India.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong communication skills.
• Experience in QSR or food manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation of existing product quality.
• Resolve corrective actions relating to product complaints.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards in restaurants.
• Support development of regional suppliers.
• Validate product recipes during quality checks.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Support evaluation of existing product quality and partner in conducting product cuttings of key product categories.
• Support teams to efficiently and effectively resolve all corrective actions relating to product complaints arising from restaurants, guests and incident management processes.
• Support the field operations teams to ensure that food safety and quality standards are being maintained in the restaurants. Partner to ensure effective REV compliance on points specific to FSQA and work on closing non-compliances. Ensure FSSAI compliance in restaurants.
• Support development of regional suppliers that meet company objectives by identifying potential supply partners, key operating systems, and supplier required processes.
• Partner in conducting validation of product recipes and builds during continuous quality checks and for new product launches.

Desired Candidate:

• B.Sc. (minimum) in food science or related field
• Solid understanding of FSSAI and GFSI audit programmes in India
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong communication skills to ensure challenges are understood and progress is made
• Experience in QSR or food manufacturing facilities
