Jacobs is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in ADC for their Gurugram office. The role involves leading ADC projects, preparing process diagrams, and performing complex engineering calculations.

The ideal candidate will have a BE in Chemical Engineering with 15-25 years of experience in design engineering, specifically within Lifesciences Projects. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and design consulting organization experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle ADC projects including RnD Lab & QC lab.
• Carry out heat & mass balance calculations, utility sizing.
• Lead HAZOP and PHA Reviews.

Your impact

As a Subject Matter Expert in ADC, candidate should possess the following as a minimum:

• Strong Technical Skills in carrying out basic and detailed engineering work. The candidate should be experienced in handling ADC projects including RnD Lab & QC lab.
• Should be able to prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Should have strong knowledge on layout designing of ADC plants
• Should be able to independently carry out Capacity Mapping of ADC Plants
• The candidate should possess sound knowledge on equipment selection criteria for ADC Products from lab scale to commercial scale production.
• Should have knowledge on latest ISPE Guidelines
• Should be aware of regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, WHO, TGA etc.
• Perform All process engineering calculations like heat & mass balance, Utility sizing (Clean & Black), Thermal rating of heat exchangers and hydraulics, line sizing, Pump Hydraulics
• Vendor Document Review
• Reviewing all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety, including leading HAZOP and PHA Reviews
• Possess thorough knowledge on containment techniques and be able to perform Containment Studies.
• Provide guidance in GMP reviews.
• Containment selection for OEL less than 0.01 mg/m3
• Waste Handling from ADC plants
• Raw Material Handling & Storage

Skills And Competencies Required

• BE Chemical with 15-25 years Experience in Design Engineering
• Must have experience of design consulting organization either working currently or in the past in Lifesciences Projects
• Experience in Major Peptide projects
