Job summary

iDream Education is seeking a Subject Matter Expert – K-12 Mathematics to own maths content development and curriculum alignment for CBSE/NCERT-based State Board materials. The role requires 3-5 years in education, strong Excel/Google Suite skills, and fluency in Hindi and English.

You will collaborate with curriculum, content, QC, design, and product teams to deliver high-quality learning resources for 1st–12th grade learners. Hybrid role with mandatory in-office presence 2 days a week.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Maths
• 3-5 years of experience in education domain (teaching experience with product use case/edtech domain)
• Strong knowledge of Maths as a subject and understanding of concepts for classes K-12 of CBSE/NCERT
• Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets/Google Suite
• Proficient in Hindi and English (Read, Write and Speak)
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail
• Sharpness in understanding assignments and proactively handle responsibilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong hold on AI tools like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT and ability to solve problems quickly using AI

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Leads in tracking and monitoring updates, revisions, and changes in Maths curriculum across State Boards
• Develop understanding of Maths syllabus and State Board curriculum including subjects and grade-wise learning requirements
• Support identification, collection, and maintenance of high-quality free Maths content and OER from reliable sources
• Regularly monitor Government, partner and other credible resources for updates and changes in Maths content
• Develop understanding of Maths content library across State Boards, grades, and regional language requirements
• Verify and review sources to ensure credibility and alignment with curriculum
• Identify alignment gaps, inaccuracies, and content errors and help resolve them
• Review and polish curriculum alignment and OER for accuracy and quality
• Update Maths content in State Board master sheets based on curriculum changes
• Review and finalize corrected Maths content for delivery across platforms
• Work in a fast-paced environment and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with Team Leads and others to ensure high-quality Maths content and solutions

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in teaching/Developing Maths content and a minimum of 3 years of total work experience in a full-time role in a relevant field.

Researching and content exploring skills to collect and maintain all the good quality, free to use content sources available for State Board curriculums/ NCERT/ Any other Board

Possess good grip on Google suite as this work will majorly happen in Excel and Word Files, one needs to be very comfortable operating these with attention to minute details.

Be adept with developing assessments as and when required

• To assist Team Leads in regularly tracking and monitoring updates, revisions, and changes in Maths curriculum across different State Boards.

• To develop a thorough understanding of the existing Maths content library across different State Boards, grade levels, and regional language requirements.
• To verify and review the sources used for Maths content to ensure that they are credible, relevant, appropriate, and aligned with the required curriculum.
• To identify alignment gaps, inaccuracies, and content errors and support the team in resolving them effectively.
• To review, improve, and polish curriculum alignment and the OER added to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
• To regularly update, add, replace, or revise Maths content in the State Board master sheets based on curriculum changes and identified requirements.
• To review and finalize corrected and aligned Maths content, ensuring that it is accurate, complete, and ready for delivery across all platforms.
• To work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment, respond to changes promptly, and provide timely feedback on deliverables to ensure issues are resolved within defined timelines.
• To collaborate closely with Team Leads and other members of the iDream Education team to ensure the development and delivery of high-quality Maths content, products, and solutions for learners and users.
