Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Maharashtra seeks an experienced professional in mathematics education to lead test design, item development and assessment projects. The role requires a strong academic background and the ability to coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver high-quality test content.

The candidate should have expertise in assessment, blueprint design, and classroom/testing domain knowledge, with fluency in English and Hindi, and proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Structure & design Question Banks; set quality standards for writing & review.
• Track inventory and maintain item availability in non-STEM domains.
• Define selection criteria and strategy.
• Train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects.
• Coordinate with SMEs for test development activities.
• Test designing and coordinating with SMEs to finalize designs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill item requirements.
• Support Lead Subject Admin in project delivery.

Education : M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Mathematical Sciences. Strong academic grounding in Pure and Applied Mathematics

Must Have Skills

Experience of working in Education Sector related to Assessment & Evaluation - Test Designs/Blueprints, Question Development

Managing Stakeholders - internal & External

Good command over English both written and spoken

Good command over spoken Hindi

Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

• Structure & design Question Banks; Set quality standards item for writing & review in respective domain
• Track inventory and maintain optimum levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects.
• Define selection criteria and strategy.
• Train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects
• Extensive coordination with SMEs for all test development activities.

Test Designing: Create test designs in subjects of expertise and coordinate with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfil requirements for test items and question sets.

Supporting Lead Subject Admin in delivering projects and other requirements as per the needs of the organization
