Job summary

Birlasoft invites an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our global team in managing SAP S/4HANA environments, including HANA DB refreshes and add-on upgrades. The role requires 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience, 24x7 operations exposure, and strong Linux knowledge.

You will work across public cloud administration, cloud connectors, and SAP monitoring tools, ensuring system stability and performance. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have SAP BASIS with 8+ years experience in SAP environments.
• Experience working in 24x7 operations.
• Strong proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, HANA DB, and ABAP system setup.
• Experience with Linux environments and cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Data Services (BODS), SLT, and SAP Add-on/SAP upgrade processes.
• Familiarity with Solution Manager configuration, monitoring, and LMDB/SLD/EWA.
• Experience with public cloud administration and cloud connectors.
• Scripting skills (Shell/Perl) and DevOps tooling are plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP Basis administration for SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Manage system provisioning, upgrades, and patching (Support Packages).
• Oversee 24x7 operations and ensure high availability.
• Coordinate refresh on HANA DB and manage BODS/SLT integrations.
• Administer SAP system monitoring, LMDB/SLD/EWA configurations.
• Ensure HA/DR readiness and backup/restore strategies.
• Handle cloud integration with public cloud providers and cloud connectors.

Job Summary

• Experience of working in 24x7 operations and should be a team player
• Good experience of SAP Refresh on HANA DB.
• Need good experience on SAP S4HANA support.
• Expertise in SAP system provisioning.
• Expertise in SAP Add-on upgrade, Support package upgrade
• Good experience on handling issue related to BODS, Data Services and SLT.
• Knowledge of Cloud connectors.
• Expertise in Solution Manager basic configuration like managing SLD, LMDB, EWA, Managed system configuration and technical monitoring.
• Knowledge of SAP HA/DR and backup/restore technologies
• Experience in handling public and private cloud administration
• Expert knowledge in System Monitoring, system performance, SAP software logistics, client copy, and ABAP system setup are a must
• Expert knowledge in Linux environment
• Understanding of cloud architecture is must
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a positive can-do & self-starter attitude.
• Experience with Public cloud is must. Certification will be an added advantage.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge is other DevOps tools for automation will be preferred.
