Job summary

Jobtailor in India is seeking a Windchill Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience to design and implement Windchill solutions using Java/J2EE and Windchill APIs.

You will customize actions, workflows, and UI components, and work across PDMLink, Part/ BOM, and Document Management modules, including CAD data integrations.

Proficiency with XML, REST, SQL, and Windchill data models is required, with a track record of delivering implementations, upgrades, or migrations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Windchill/PLM development experience.
• Strong Java/J2EE, JSP, JavaScript skills and Windchill customization framework.
• Experience with Windchill UI and framework components.
• Knowledge of XML, REST APIs and Web Services.
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model and object relationships.
• Experience with BOM, Part, Document and Change Management.
• CAD integration and publishing knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in implementations, upgrades, migrations or integrations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates expertise in PTC Windchill Development, including customization and implementation of workflows, lifecycle processes, and UI components. Proficient in Java, J2EE, and related technologies to support data management and integration within Windchill.
