Job summary

Rent An Attire, a premium fashion rental brand, is seeking a Sales & Styling Consultant in Pune (and Dehradun) to deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing day-to-day store operations.

You will understand customer needs, create complete looks, manage fittings and tastemaking, and drive bookings and sales in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in retail sales, fashion or customer experience.
• Freshers with a strong interest in fashion, styling and sales are welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Rent An Attire is a premium fashion rental brand making designer fashion more accessible, sustainable and effortless. We offer curated designer wear for weddings, celebrations and special occasions, including lehengas, gowns, sherwanis, suits, tuxedos and more.

We are looking for a Sales & Styling Consultant who can create an exceptional customer experience while managing day-to-day store operations.

What You’ll Do

Customer Styling & Experience

• Understand the customer's occasion, preferences, budget and styling requirements.
• Recommend outfits and create complete looks for weddings, receptions, parties and other occasions.
• Assist customers with outfit selection, fittings and styling.
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a warm, personalised store experience.
• Handle customer queries and provide styling guidance in-store and through WhatsApp/calls when required.

Sales & Order Management

• Drive store sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Convert walk-ins, enquiries and appointments into confirmed bookings.
• Explain rental options, pricing, rental periods, deposits and policies to customers.
• Manage the complete order journey—from booking and measurements to dispatch, return and closure.
• Follow up with customers on pending payments, confirmations, fittings and upcoming bookings.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records in the system.

Store Operations

• Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the store.
• Manage customer appointments, trials, fittings, alterations and pickups/returns.
• Coordinate with the operations team for timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
• Ensure the store is well-presented, organised and customer-ready at all times.
• Handle customer concerns and coordinate internally for quick resolution.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are properly tagged, stored and tracked.
• Check the condition of outfits before and after rentals.
• Coordinate for dry cleaning, alterations, repairs and maintenance wherever required.
• Ensure outfits are available and ready as per upcoming bookings.
• Support regular stock audits and identify missing, damaged or misplaced inventory.
• Coordinate inventory movement between stores and the warehouse when required.

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of experience in retail sales, fashion, styling, luxury retail or customer experience.
• Freshers with a strong interest in fashion, styling and sales are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good eye for fashion, styling and aesthetics.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and confidently recommend products.
• Target-oriented with a strong sales mindset.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working with inventory and order-management systems.
• Ability to handle customers with patience, warmth and professionalism.
• Prior experience in fashion retail, bridal wear, occasion wear or fashion rental will be an added advantage.
