Role Description

The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kottayam. The advisor will guide learners through academic and career pathways for studying abroad, helping them choose suitable destinations, institutions, and programs aligned with their goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting individual counseling sessions, organizing information seminars, and providing clear guidance on admission requirements, application timelines, and documentation. The role also involves supporting learners with visa-related information, coordinating with internal training teams to align test preparation with study plans, and maintaining accurate records of each learner’s progress. The advisor will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth experience for learners and respond promptly to inquiries from learners and their families.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Educational Consulting and Consulting, with the ability to guide learners on suitable study abroad options.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to interact effectively with learners, families, and institutional partners.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Visas and basic international admission procedures to support learners through the application and immigration process.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple learner cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in education, international relations, counseling, or a related field; prior experience in study abroad advising or educational counseling is preferred.
• Candidates should possess comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms to manage learner information and outreach.
