Job summary

EY is seeking a STS Cross-Function Reporting Analyst in Bengaluru to support and manage security products through analytics and reporting. The role partners with Security Technology Services and Information Security to deliver end-to-end service management for internal security offerings.

You will develop dashboards, extract insights, and prepare regular management reports, collaborating with multiple teams in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 5–7 years working within Information Technology in a global firm
• Advanced knowledge in Power BI and DAX
• Knowledge of Azure Data Explorer, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Log Analytics
• Scripting or programming in Python (pandas, NumPy) or PowerShell
• Experience with Azure SQL and ETL processes
• Certifications in data visualization or analytics platforms

STS Cross-Function Reporting Analyst

EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

• Client Technology (CT) focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
• Enterprise Technology (ET) – ET supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. ET will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on better user experience.
• Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protects EY and client data, and our information management systems.

The opportunity

The Cross-Function Support Reporting Analyst partners closely across the Security Technology Services (STS) organization and Information Security to support and management of Security products and services. This includes analytics and reporting, service reviews, service improvements, service transition, introduction and readiness, and other activities as identified pertaining to end-to-end service management of internal security technology offerings.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret security tools data to generate various reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to present security metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various security support teams to gather data and insights for reporting purposes.
• Monitor reports and dashboard to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management.
• Identify trends and patterns in security data to inform decision-making.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Conceptual knowledge of security applications and technologies, as well as operating system platforms including Cloud technologies
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud services, with a strong understanding of Azure security tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Sentinel
• Advanced knowledge in Power BI and connecting it with various data sources, including Azure platform, SQL databases and other models.
• Knowledge in scripting (Python) and API would be an added benefit
• Analytical acumen and solution orientation to provide recommendations to teams and leaders in support of avoiding financial, operational, and security risks to EY and our customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of a matrixed, geographically and culturally dispersed organization
• Possess knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to drive compliance in Incident, Problem, and Change processes and drive as necessary

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 5 - 7 years working within Information Technology in a global firm
• Advance knowledge in Power BI and DAX
• Knowledge of Azure Data Explorer, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Log Analytics
• Working knowledge of data analysis programming or scripting languages, such as Python (with libraries like pandas, NumPy) or PowerShell
• Experience with Azure SQL and database management systems for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Certifications in data visualization or analytics platforms.
