What you will do

The IS Service Lead -OTC will be for managing the day to day activities in the areas of technical integration projects, environment and application readiness. The scope of work can include activities supporting RUN for a specific platform / application stack. The incumbent will be responsible for tracking and managing the execution of approved projects and/or releases, while also forecasting the planning and delivery of new demand. The incumbent could also provide oversight of managed service teams that are aligned to the platform for both service requests and incidents. Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development and guidance of the junior team members in enhancing their capabilities and increasing productivity.

Analyze business requirements (functional and technical) by conducting information-gathering sessions across multiple functional areas.

  • Guide the business to select and utilize the appropriate technology solutions to support the business requirement while utilizing standard practices in the SAP landscape and harmonized business processes.
  • Develop functional specifications for new requirements that utilize SAP best practices and align with global company strategies
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.
  • Should be able to create requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
  • Provide guidance and direction to all process towers for cross functional flows that affect OTC.
  • Perform the necessary configuration and technical changes required to support business requirements including cross functional impact while monitoring transport changes all the way thru production and validation.
  • Develop and execute unit-test and integration test scenarios and direct others in the proper test and use case strategies
  • Work with other team leads, business process owners, project team members, and end users to effectively implement projects on time, in scope and on budget while utilizing SAP and industry best practices
  • Responsible for knowledge transfer to other team members and associates as resident SD expert
  • Provide expert support (i.e. break/fix, how to expertise, minor/major enhancements, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting) for all business-critical OTC process flows.
  • Exposure to Planning tools, HANA preferred
  • Ensure timely issue identification, resolution, handling escalation & ensuring process consistency.
  • Consumer Products Industry experience preferred.

What You Need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required; Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study preferred.

Strong knowledge of SAP SD (sales & distribution) with 5 years of configuration experience mandatory and 7+ years of experience preferred

Strong SD (sales and distribution) technical knowledge including IDOCs

Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

Strong strategic skills with ability and vision to map out “to be” business processes

Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet milestones

Experienced in SAP Interfaces and EDI preferred

Works independently without supervision.
