Job summary

Vandey Global Services in Bangalore North, India, is seeking a Structural BIM Modeller with 3+ years of experience in structural steel detailing and BIM modelling. You will develop accurate 3D Revit models, create shop drawings, and coordinate with engineers and detailers to deliver constructible solutions.

The role requires strong Revit skills, familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection, and a disciplined approach to QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit Structure and structural steel modelling.
• Experience in Revit family creation and parametric modelling.
• Solid understanding of structural steel connections and detailing.
• Experience in preparing structural steel shop/fabrication drawings.
• Good knowledge of Revit schedules, parameters and documentation.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D structural steel BIM models, including columns, beams, braces, primary and secondary framing, structural connections, and other related components
• Develop, modify, and maintain Revit structural families, including custom and parametric components.
• Prepare detailed structural steel shop/fabrication drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, connection details, dimensions, annotations, and material information.
• Create and maintain Revit schedules for steel members, connections, materials, quantities, and other project requirements.
• Review structural drawings and specifications to understand design intent and accurately translate them into 3D BIM models.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection with other disciplines using Revit and Navisworks.
• Identify modelling conflicts, connection issues, dimensional discrepancies, and coordination requirements, and implement necessary corrections.
• Update models, drawings, families, and schedules based on design revisions, RFIs, and coordination comments.
• Ensure proper alignment, levels, grids, member locations, and connection details within the BIM model.
• Perform model and drawing QA/QC to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain consistency between the 3D model, shop drawings, schedules, and fabrication information.
• Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modelling procedures, and LOD requirements.

We are seeking a skilledStructuralSteel BIM Modellerwith 3+ years of relevant experience in structuralsteel detailing and BIM modelling. The ideal candidate should have a strongunderstanding of steel structures, detailing practices, and constructionrequirements, along with hands‑on experience in Revit-based BIM projects andcloud collaboration environments.
