Job summary

AECOM India Global Services Private Limited is seeking a Structural Design Engineer with 3 to 6 years of water and wastewater project experience. You will design, analyze, and review structural elements for water infrastructure, reservoirs, and pump stations while collaborating across disciplines.

The role requires strong knowledge of concrete/steel design, familiarity with Eurocodes and US codes, and hands-on use of Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000. Hybrid work model in India offered.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience as a structural design engineer, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater-related design projects.
• Structural Analysis and Design, Preparation of structural calculation reports, design calculations using Excel and other in-house software.
• Excellent technical skills in design for Concrete and Steel structures.
• Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the other disciplines.
• Able to work in a complete life cycle of a design project within Water and Wastewater environment under supervision of senior engineers.
• Familiarity with international codes, including Eurocodes and American codes Code of practices.
• Familiarity with various software packages, ideally including Autodesk Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE and SAP 2000.
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team spread across various geographical locations.
• Strong understanding of safety in design and related practices

• Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status will be advantageous.
