Job summary

Fluor Corporation in India is seeking a senior Structural Engineer with 8–15 years of experience to lead design efforts on complex projects. The role requires deep knowledge of US/European codes, wind and seismic design, and hands-on calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures.

You will review vendor drawings, supervise a small project team, and contribute to FEED and Detail Engineering activities. Strong communication and field experience are essential for success.

Job Description

• Four (4) year degree in Structural Engineering or global equivalent in engineering field of study and with eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
• Ability to communicate effectively that includes but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Basic Job Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards for US and European regions, commercial availability, and cost of materials
• Advanced knowledge of performing hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures (structural)
