Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Design Engineer / Engineering Manager (Civil) for the Bhogapuram Site/EDRC HQ. The role involves design of steel and RCC structures from concept through construction detailing, ensuring compliance with codes and timely delivery of drawings and documents.

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering is mandatory; a Master’s in Structural Engineering is preferred. 3–7 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Equivalent is mandatory.
• Masters in Structural Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in designing steel/RCC structures per codes.

Responsibilities

• Design steel and RCC structures from concept to construction details.
• Prepare specifications and quantity estimates.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design issues.

Job Purpose

Responsible for design of Steel/ RCC structure from concept design, detail design and construction details stages as per the scope of the project in compliance with statutory rules and regulations. Preparation of specifications and quantity estimation of the same. Design coordination with other disciplines and resolving inter disciplinary design issues. Ensuring proper, timely and effective delivery of drawings and documents for construction and adhering to relevant codes and standards.

Requirements Desired knowledge and experience EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (degree, training, or certification required)

Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil or Equivalent) (Mandatory) Masters in Structural Engineering (Preferred)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

3 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
