Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Bhogapuram Site/ EDRC HQ is seeking a Design Engineer / Engineering Manager (Civil) to lead the structural design of steel and RCC frames from concept through detailing and construction. You will ensure compliance with codes, prepare specifications and quantify materials, and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design issues.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) with 3–7 years of relevant experience, familiarity with ETABS, STAAD, and SAFE,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil) mandatory.
• Masters in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design of steel and RCC structures from concept through detailing and construction stages.

Job Purpose

Responsible for design of Steel/ RCC structure from concept design, detail design and construction details stages as per the scope of the project in compliance with statutory rules and regulations. Preparation of specifications and quantity estimation of the same. Design coordination with other disciplines and resolving inter disciplinary design issues. Ensuring proper, timely and effective delivery of drawings and documents for construction and adhering to relevant codes and standards.

Requirements Desired knowledge and experience EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (degree, training, or certification required)

Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil or Equivalent) (Mandatory) Masters in Structural Engineering (Preferred)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

3 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
