Job summary

Monarch Surveyors & Engineering Consultants in India (Patna) is seeking a structural design engineer to translate customer requirements into detailed designs. You will prepare designs, drawings and reports, and perform load and stress calculations for RCC and steel structures, including bridges, following IRS and IRC standards.

You will coordinate with COE and project teams to collect data, ensure QA of data and designs, and deliver high-quality designs to customers.

• The position requires understanding design requirements, preparing designs and drawings, and performing load and stress calculations.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the design requirements of the customer.
• Preparing the design as per the data.
• Preparing designs, drawings & reports.
• Making all the necessary calculations in terms of load & stress.
• Coordinating with COE & Project teams for data collection as per required standards.
• Preparation of general arrangement structural drawings and Detailed Design of RCC & steel structures (Sub structure & Superstructure of bridges) as per IRS and IRC.
• Ensuring all designs shared with the customer meet quality standards of the customer and organizational standards.
• Cross verifying the quality and accuracy of the data being collected.
