Flexing It in Mumbai is engaging with an Indian nonprofit to appoint a Strategy & Transformation Consultant. The role focuses on delivering a comprehensive 5-year strategy with clear priorities, impact metrics and a roadmap across programs and support functions.

The incumbent will define Theory of Change, assess risks and scale-up plans, map geographic expansion, and build governance and fundraising frameworks to sustain long-term impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 5-year organisation-wide strategy with vision, priorities, impact scorecard and metrics.
• Define 5-year strategies for programs with Theory of Change, outcomes and scale-up plans.
• Develop geographic expansion, team structure and budget growth plans.
• Identify strategic priorities across AI, technology, research, partnerships, communications, HR and finance.
• Assess new areas such as maternal morbidity and mental health within existing programs.
• Build resource mobilisation and fundraising strategy with targets and channels.
• Develop recommendations for government adoption, policy advocacy, replication and sustainability.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate insights into a clear, actionable 5-year roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the organization’s 5-year organisation-wide strategy, including vision, strategic priorities, impact scorecard and key success metrics.
• Define 5-year strategies for individual programs, including Theory of Change, outcomes, scale-up plans, risks, success factors and endgames.
• Develop geographic expansion, team structure and budget growth plans across programs and supporting functions.
• Identify strategic priorities across AI, technology, research, content, government partnerships, communications, HR and finance.
• Assess and develop strategies for new areas such as maternal morbidity and mental health within organization’s existing programs.
• Build the organization’s resource mobilisation and fundraising strategy, including funding requirements, channels and year-wise targets.
• Develop recommendations for government adoption, policy advocacy, replication and long-term program sustainability.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate insights into a clear, actionable 5-year roadmap.
