Job summary

Embark is a specialized consulting and execution platform designed to help global enterprises build, scale, and evolve Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. As a Strategy Consultant, you will help clients with GCC opportunity assessment, offshoring strategy, benchmarking, business case development, location assessment and talent strategy, defining target operating models and writing thought leadership.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales teams and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering or related field; Postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• 3-5 years of consulting experience in GBS/Shared Services/GCC sector strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PPT.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior executives is desirable.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence.

Responsibilities

• Help clients across the GCC lifecycle – including GCC opportunity assessment, offshoring/sourcing strategy, peer benchmarking, location assessment, business case development, talent strategy, and defining target operating model.
• Lead comprehensive market research, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis to identify opportunities and strategic risks.
• Develop best practice material on various GBS topics to be used by teams or shared with clients.
• Contribute to building sector/topic teams and suggesting emerging sector/topic based on client demand.
• Develop additional proprietary knowledge like creation of databases, supporting whitepapers and internal knowledge documents.
• Create impactful PowerPoint presentations tailored for executive communication, effectively telling the story behind the data.
