Role Description & Responsibilities

We are not looking for someone to run a playbook; we are looking for someone to write it. Our Transformation Office operates as an agile, internal consulting group dedicated to helping other departments evolve, optimize, and scale. Because the needs of the business are constantly shifting, there is no pre-planned roadmap or rigid process for what needs transforming.

We need a proactive visionary who can parachute into any department, diagnose the underlying challenges, and architect a transformation strategy from scratch. This is a rare, highly dynamic role that requires a "unicorn" skill set: the analytical rigor to understand complex systems, the business acumen to align with corporate strategy, and the linguistic dexterity to seamlessly translate between Finance, Sales, and Delivery teams.

What You Will Do

• Discover & Diagnose: Proactively partner with departmental leaders to identify blind spots, operational bottlenecks, and areas ripe for transformation. You will figure out what needs to change before the business even realizes it.
• Act as the Cross-Functional Translator: Seamlessly navigate the competing priorities and distinct languages of Finance (margins, EBITDA, cost structures), Sales (pipelines, win rates, quotas), and Delivery (SLAs, resource allocation, utilization).
• Design Bespoke Solutions: Build custom transformation frameworks tailored to the specific problem at hand, recognizing that a solution for the Sales team will look vastly different than one for Delivery.
• Drive Execution Through Influence: Lead change management efforts without direct authority, acting as a trusted advisor and coach to help teams adopt new operational models.
• Build the Plane While Flying It: Thrive in an environment with high ambiguity, bringing structure to chaos and turning abstract business problems into actionable, measurable transformation projects.

Qualifications

• The Engineer-Strategist: You possess an Engineering mindset to break down complex, systemic problems into solvable parts, paired with an MBA-level understanding of holistic business strategy.
• Highly Adaptable: You do not wait for a brief or a step-by-step guide. You are entirely comfortable walking into a room, asking the right questions, and defining the scope of work yourself.
• A Master Communicator: You can explain a technical delivery constraint to a VP of Sales, and a financial hurdle to a Lead Engineer, ensuring everyone is aligned and moving in the same direction.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field combined with an MBA (strongly preferred).
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or a cross-functional leadership role.
• Domain Fluency: Proven ability to understand and speak to the core metrics, challenges, and workflows of Finance, Sales, and Delivery organizations.
• Change Management: Demonstrated success in leading complex change initiatives across multiple business units in a fast-paced environment.
