Job summary

Huzzle seeks a Strategic Project Lead to drive complex AI data projects from requirements to final delivery. You will work with leading AI organisations and internal teams to convert ambiguous needs into actionable operating plans while maintaining quality, throughput and timelines.

This hands-on role requires excellent communication, decision-making under pressure, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in high-ownership environments such as consulting, startups or operations.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects.
• Excellent written and verbal English, especially under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with incomplete information.
• Attention to detail while keeping overall project outcomes in view.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
• Occasional weekend delivery windows may be required.

Strategic Project Lead: AI Data Operations

Overview

• We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead to run complex AI data projects from customer requirements through final delivery.
• You will work directly with leading AI organisations, domain experts and internal teams to turn ambiguous requirements into clear operating plans and keep quality, throughput and timelines on track.
• This is a hands‑on execution role. You will be expected to identify bottlenecks quickly, improve workflows and take ownership of project outcomes.
• This is an operations role: you will run delivery, not set strategy or sell.
• Projects can involve large distributed expert teams, tight timelines and evolving customer requirements, so strong judgement, communication and operational discipline are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end, from initial scoping and planning through execution, quality control and final delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into clear workflows, milestones, instructions and operating processes.
• Coordinate distributed teams of domain experts, reviewers and internal operators.
• Track project quality, throughput, capacity, deadlines and contributor performance.
• Diagnose bottlenecks and redesign processes where quality or execution is falling short.
• Work directly with customers to provide clear progress updates, surface risks and respond quickly to changing requirements.
• Support sourcing, vetting, onboarding and training where projects require specialist contributors at scale.
• Build simple systems and processes that make projects easier to operate as they grow.
• Maintain a high quality bar while working under demanding timelines.

Example of your work

You would translate the brief into a workable production process, determine how many contributors and reviewers are needed, coordinate sourcing and onboarding, monitor quality and throughput daily, identify where work is getting stuck, and adjust the workflow until the project is delivered successfully.

Ideal qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance, startups, operations, project management or another high-ownership environment.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability.
• Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and communicating clearly under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Excellent attention to detail without losing sight of overall project outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Responsive during critical delivery windows, which can occasionally include weekends.
• Experience with AI, data operations, expert networks or distributed workforces is a plus, not a requirement.
