Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites applications for a Senior AI/ML Engineer in Bengaluru to design and implement production-grade AI and generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs. You will build AI agents, copilots, and workflow automation while integrating RAG architectures with vector databases, and scale services in production environments.

The role requires strong Python/SQL/Java/Go skills, expertise in PyTorch, LangChain, and prompt engineering, plus experience in Cloud & MLOps, Kubernetes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or closely related quantitative discipline.
• 9-12 years of experience in engineering or AI/ML roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade AI and Generative AI solutions using large language models (LLMs).
• Develop AI agents, copilots, and workflow automation systems that improve user productivity and business outcomes.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.
• Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and foundation models for accuracy, performance, safety, and cost.
• Build scalable APIs, services, and platforms to serve AI models in production environments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish monitoring, observability, and governance mechanisms to ensure responsible AI deployment.
• Drive experimentation, innovation, and adoption of emerging AI technologies across the organization.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence, code quality, and AI best practices.
