Job summary

Hilton Hotels is seeking a Stewards Executive to lead the stewarding team and oversee back-of-house operations. You will supervise dishwashers and utility staff, ensure timely transport and cleaning of utensils, and uphold sanitation standards to deliver memorable hospitality experiences.

As a dynamic leader, you will drive efficiency, monitor costs, and collaborate with kitchen and restaurant teams to maintain excellence across all guest touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a 5-star hotel
• 2+ years as a Stewarding Team Leader in an international brand hotel
• Knowledgeable in HACCP and sanitation standards

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily back-of-house operations including utility stewards and dishwashers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house spaces
• Manage inventory, equipment storage, and timely delivery of supplies for functions
• Coach and develop team members, schedule shifts, and conduct evaluations
• Track performance metrics and assist with inventories for cost control
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service
• Uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Middle School Diploma equivalent or above
• At least 3 years of working experience in a 5-star category hotel
• Minimum of 2 years as a Stewarding Team Leader in an international brand hotel
• Knowledgeable in HACCP

Here s what you ll do during a typical day:

• Supervise daily back-of-house operations: Oversee utility stewards, dishwashers, and temporary staff to ensure timely transport and cleaning of utensils and serviceware for restaurant and banquet operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization: Supervise cleaning of back-of-house spaces to uphold sanitation and hygiene standards
• Support inventory and equipment needs: Ensure proper inventory levels, manage equipment storage and distribution, and coordinate the timely delivery of food and equipment for all functions
• Support team performance and development: Assist with day-to-day team oversight, scheduling shifts, coaching and professional development, conducting evaluations, and recognizing achievements
• Monitor and report on performance metrics: Track breakage and loss reports, update operating manuals, and assist with monthly inventories to support cost controls and efficiency improvements
• Collaborate across teams: Partner with kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service, assisting team members where needed
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
