Job summary

Photon is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain IBM Sterling OMS and Call Center solutions in a cloud-native environment. You will build scalable services with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, and design REST APIs for enterprise apps.

You will deploy on Google Cloud Platform using Docker and Kubernetes, implement CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and optimize PostgreSQL and DB2 databases while supporting production deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java/backend development with hands-on IBM Sterling OMS experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
