Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking a Sterile Process Engineering Operator in its Engineering / Sterile Manufacturing division. The role focuses on aseptic equipment and packaging machine maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and compliant operations across sterile processing lines.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of aseptic equipment, troubleshooting of filling and sterilization systems, and supporting equipment qualification and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Exposure to vial, ampoule, and ophthalmic manufacturing facilities.
• Experience handling OEM maintenance activities and spare part management.
• Knowledge of PLC-based machine troubleshooting and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Aseptic Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of aseptic processing equipment.
• Aseptic Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot filling machines, vial washing machines, sterilization tunnels, autoclaves, capping machines, isolators, and associated utility systems.
• Aseptic Equipment Maintenance: Ensure smooth operation of sterile manufacturing equipment with minimum downtime.
• Aseptic Equipment Maintenance: Support equipment qualification, validation, and commissioning activities.
• Aseptic Equipment Maintenance: Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Packaging Machine Maintenance: Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging equipment such as blister packing machines, cartoning machines, labeling machines, serialization systems, shrink wrapping machines, case packers and palletizers.
• Packaging Machine Maintenance: Conduct machine changeovers and setup activities.
• Packaging Machine Maintenance: Ensure packaging equipment operates within validated parameters.
• Preferred Experience: Preferred experience in vial, ampoule, and ophthalmic manufacturing facilities.
• Preferred Experience: Experience handling OEM maintenance activities and spare part management.
• Preferred Experience: Knowledge of PLC-based machine troubleshooting and automation systems.
