Job summary

Stemfield Innovation Hub in India is seeking a dedicated STEAM Trainer to deliver engaging sessions to school-aged learners in classroom and lab settings in Jabalpur.

You will plan interactive lessons, prepare materials, manage equipment, ensure an inclusive, safe learning environment, and collaborate with schools and guardians. On-site, full-time role with opportunities to lead workshops and participate in events.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in STEAM disciplines and ability to simplify topics for diverse age groups.
• Experience in teaching, training, or facilitating workshops for K-12 or youth-focused settings.
• Ability to design and deliver hands-on, project-based learning activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
• Effective classroom management and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices.
• Clear spoken and written communication skills and ability to engage learners with varied backgrounds.
• Comfort with basic educational technology and tools used for demonstrations, presentations, and digital learning resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics; relevant certifications in teaching or training are an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Jabalpur as part of a collaborative team.

Role Description

The STEAM Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jabalpur, responsible for delivering engaging STEAM sessions to school-aged learners in classroom and lab settings. Each day, the trainer plans and conducts interactive lessons, demonstrations, and projects that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and math concepts. The role includes preparing instructional materials, setting up and managing equipment, guiding learners through experiments and activities, and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment. Additional responsibilities may include organizing workshops, supporting events and competitions, maintaining records, and communicating with school staff and guardians about learner development.
