Job summary

Kaabil is seeking an enthusiastic STEM Skill Trainer to deliver hands-on learning experiences for Grades 6–10, guiding students through engineering, science, design thinking, prototyping and sustainability. The role focuses on creativity, problem-solving and safe workshop practices within the Fix It World program.

Fresh graduates with a passion for STEM education are encouraged to apply; prior teacher or workshop experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Environmental Science or related field; freshers encouraged.
• Experience in STEM education or maker spaces is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging STEM and hands-on learning sessions for Grades 6–10.
• Guide students in engineering design, repair, sustainability and creative problem-solving.
• Assist in prototype building and classroom activities using clay and other materials.
• Maintain workshop materials and ensure safe use of tools.
• Encourage teamwork, innovation and critical thinking; provide feedback on activities.
• Support curriculum implementation and track student progress.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative STEM Skill Trainer to support the development and delivery of hands‑on learning experiences for students from Grades 6–10. The role involves guiding students through engineering, science, design thinking, prototyping, sustainability, creativity, and problem‑solving activities as part of the Fix It World program.

Eligibility

• B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Environmental Science or any related field),
• Fresher’s with strong interest in STEM education are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with experience in STEM education, maker spaces, DIY projects, craft, or science activities will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging STEM and hands‑on learning sessions.
• Guide students in engineering design, repair, sustainability, and creative problem‑solving.
• Assist in prototype building using Terracotta clay and modelling clay, experiments, and classroom activities.
• Maintain workshop materials and ensure safe use of tools.
• Encourage teamwork, innovation, and critical thinking.
• Support curriculum implementation and provide activity feedback.
