Job summary

Abbott in Gurgaon, India is seeking a Statistical Analyst to review table mockups, CRFs and edit check specs, and to generate data tables, figures, and listings with biostatisticians and clinical staff.

You will write and document programs, perform ad hoc programming, QC tasks, and ensure data quality within the clinical affairs/statistics team at MD Medical Devices.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with 3-5 years or MS with 18 months of related work experience.
• Strong analytical and programming skills in SAS.
• Experience with clinical data and tables is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC of tables, presentations and reports.
• Review CRFs, edit check specifications and table mock-ups.
• Assist in creation of table mockups under supervision of statisticians or senior statistical analysts.
• Generate or validate table programs
• Perform adhoc programming with assistance from statisticians or senior statistical analysts
• Provide data listing or summary to Data Management for data cleaning
• Document programs and specifications
• Demonstrate knowledge of SAS data steps, procedures and macros
• Be able to use and modify existing macros
• Provide accurate and timely answers to routine questions
• Communicate an understanding of basic clinical principles for his/her project and acts in accordance with those principles.
