Job summary

Exxon Mobil is seeking a Static Equipment Engineer specializing in Piping and Valves in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Static Equipment Engineer-Piping and Valves

Location: Bangalore, KA, IN, 560066

Company: ExxonMobil Services & Technology Private Limited

  • Supports piping engineering needs across global businesses in projects and site support.
  • Knowledge on tools such as CAESAR II, Navisworks, Smart Plant Review, Nozzle Pro, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME B31.1, 31.3, 31.4, 31.8, API-570, API for valves, commonly used ASME, API & ASTM codes.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience in live Plant Operations a plus.
What you will do
  • Reviews project and contractor deliverables as requested to ensure compliance with project specifications, Design Practices, Codes & standards, and best practices. Participate in inter-disciplinary document review, design reviews, 3D model reviews, risk assessments.
  • Perform activities involving Plot plan, Piping layout, Stress Analysis, material, valves, specialty items, spring, special support datasheet preparation and review.
  • Perform the troubleshooting in existing piping system and recommend acceptable solution.
About you

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in responsible roles in Static Piping and valve engineering surveillance / inspection activities/Troubleshooting activities for projects/Operation in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Qualification: Minimum graduate in Bachelor of Engineering. Skills: Caesar II, Nozzle Pro, Navis works and SPR review, codes and standards, Brown field exp, piping, valves and materials.
    • O&G experience in green and brown field projects, piping, valves and materials, codes and standards, Caesar II, Nozzle Pro, Navis works and SPR review.
    • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree and score 60% and above (equivalent CGPA).
    • Working knowledge on –
    • Pipingarrangements, piping isometrics, plot plan, equipment layout, Piping materials take-off, piping material specifications, valve material specifications, data sheets, vendor proposals, Stress analysis and piping supports.
    • Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME B31.1, 31.3, 31.4, 31.8, API-570, API for valves, commonly used ASME, API & ASTM codes.
    • Knowledge on tools such as CAESAR II, Navisworks, Smart Plant Review, Nozzle Pro, etc.
Preferred Qualifications/Experiences
  • Experience in live Plant Operations.
  • Brown field engineering or construction and commissioning.
  • Fixed Equipment operations and engineering experience.
